I want clients to know that we can help them achieve their goals through the work we do and how we communicate. We can work together to accomplish what needs to be done.

About Phillip

Phillip (Phil) McCollum, Jr. specializes in tax planning, consulting and compliance work for privately held businesses and their owners. He’s known for connecting with people, being someone they can talk to and someone who can help them.

“My goal is to help people achieve solutions to their problems. That could be a client problem as far as an IRS matter is concerned or a client trying to figure out how to reduce their tax. Maybe it’s helping a young team member through their first tax season.”

Before joining Henry+Horne in 2015, Phil worked as a Tax Principal at a national CPA firm in Phoenix and as Associate Legal Counsel at the Illinois Department of Revenue.

When he’s not working, you can find Phil spending time with his wife and three daughters, hiking, running and attending sporting events. He’s a Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan and once caddied for Michael Jordan when he was in college.
