Mike Metzler is known for understanding the nuances of what his clients are facing because he’s been a business owner. Mike’s areas of expertise include shareholder value maximization, fraud investigations, litigation support, internal controls, operations and all private equity valuation matters.

Mike has both private industry and public accounting experience providing valuation services to enterprises from one million dollars in market capitalization to over one billion dollars. He has performed valuations for many purposes including dissolution of marriage, dissenting minority shareholder, business partner dispute, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment, employee stock option plans, complex securities and gift and estate tax issues.

His experience also includes forensic investigations, complex accounting reconstruction, financial statement consolidations, financial modeling and management accounting.

Before joining Henry+Horne’s Litigation + Valuation Services Group in 2016, Mike worked as a Manager at a local valuation firm, performing duties similar to his current role. He also served as President of JKM Accounting & Consulting, LLC and owned a construction business.

When he’s not working, you can find Mike playing basketball, on the golf course or spending time with his three kids.
