Daniel A. Mace
I’m known for communicating well with clients and making complex matters that impact them easier to understand. My goal is to exceed their expectations.
Daniel (Dan) Mace is actively engaged in helping his clients move towards their financial goals. As a partner in the tax department, Dan works with individuals and medium to large-sized businesses in both tax compliance and planning. He also assists individuals with retirement transitions, planning for other financial life changes and international real estate transactions (mainly assisting Canadians with ITIN applications and applications for reduced withholding on FIRPTA related transactions).
Dan is known for having a knack for translating tax into easily understood English. He takes the time to explain to his clients the tax and accounting processes and documents in ways they can fully understand. He’s also known for being the go-to person for technology and software questions.
Dan genuinely cares about his client’s well-being and works hard to provide them the accounting foundation they need to reach their goals. He strives to really listen to his clients, to help them get to the center of their issues. He applies his knowledge and understanding of his client’s situation to better position them for growth and success.
Dan joined Henry+Horne in 1998 after graduating from Arizona State University with his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. He’s spent his career building a book of clients that include individuals, small businesses and farming organizations.
Outside of work, you can find Dan watching football on Sundays during the fall, playing cards and other games with family and friends, and going to the movies. He has lived in Arizona since he was a kid and loves living in his hometown of Casa Grande with his family.
